Energy balls
If you have some extra time on your hands, you can go for homemade energy balls.
There are thousands of recipes out there, go for one that contains healthy fats, proteins and not too much sugar.
Here is one example:
1 1/2 cups almonds
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/3 flaxseed flour
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 nut butter
1/3 cup maple syrup (or go for a sugar free syrup)
1/2 dark chocolate chips
Put the almonds into a food processor and pulse until you have a mixture of chopped almonds.
Add the coconut, flaxseed flour and salt. Pulse some more.
Add the nut butter and maple syrup. Pulse some more, but don’t overdo it.
Use a spoon and fold in the chocolate chips and press them into the mixture.
Use a small cookie scoop (and your hands) and form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on parchment paper.
Enjoy right away or store them in the refrigerator (or freezer).
Apple sliced & nut butter
This may not sound delicious, but it is! Sweet apples and salty nut butter – yum 😋
Reheatable egg muffins
Egg muffins made from beaten eggs, veggies, and cheese are a great snack.
To make your own egg muffins, combine beaten raw eggs with chopped veggies and shredded cheese. Pour the mixture into greased muffin tins and bake at 375℉ (190℃) for 15–20 minutes. To reheat an egg muffin at work, place it in the microwave for 60–90 seconds or until it’s warmed through. And why not make some extra for your office pals?

Use your favorites, here are some examples:
Nuts: Macadamias, walnuts, pistachios, almonds
Seeds: Pumpkin, sunflower, hemp hearts
Dried fruit: Raisins, apricots, cherries
Fun stuff: Dark chocolate, popcorn, pretzels, m&ms
Seaweed snacks
Seaweed snacks are crispy slices from sheets of seaweed that have been dried and seasoned with salt (and sometimes onions, teriyaki sauce etc.)
Seaweed is high in iodine, a mineral that is important for thyroid health.
Nowadays, seaweed snacks are available in most grocery stores. Make sure to look for varieties without any weird ingredients. The ingredients should be seaweed, oil (olive oil is preferable) and salt.
Brie and grapes
Oh, this sounds fancy. This classic combo is very tasty and easy to prep.
Grapes are high in fiber and carbs while cheese is high in protein and fat. Eating them together provides a good balance of macro nutrients.
